D&D 4E 4E playtester feedback

From the 4E seminar it was noted that WOTC are on the look out for playtesters using the RPGA etc..

What if a significant portion of playtesters did not like a particular feature? Is 4E too far along at this stage for changes to be made?

If it is too late for playtesters to have any impact on the game then what is the idea behind calling for playtesters?

Dndsinsiders are supposed to be chosen too. Cant figure out how, i signed up to their message boards in hoping that i could figure out how to be chosen. No one knows over there either.

They can clarify the descriptions of confusing rules.

In a few threads D&D designers have said that things are still in development. The core principles and framework are probably set, but the details on how specific things work are probably still up in the air.
