D&D 4E 4e previews due in December

My guess is that in the NEXT previews column they'll say "oops we got a little ahead of ourselves..."

So they didn't have the previews they mentioned in that article. Why completely ignore all the stuff they DID preview NOT mentioned in that article?

Production schedules get screwed up. They gave out stuff they could. It was different then the preview glimpse. So what?

According to the WotC previews article here, the following topics were to be covered in Dragon in December:

Races: Tieflings
Classes: Warlock Pacts
D&D World: History of the Core World
Monsters: Dragons and Dragon Families
Adventure Design: Traps
Magic Items: Weapons
Subsystem: Critical Hits and Misses

How many of the above are still to be done?

probably it mixed one moth update and one new dragon update, all of them are scheduled for the next dragon and dragon will be bi-montly until the release of the 4th edition

so I think this are the articles we will see in january (for the december-january dragon magazine)

the history of the core world and the monsters tie well with the release of the world and monsters :)

but they are all interesting topics

I've never suggested it was a positive thing. I've suggested that :):):):) happens, stuff breaks, people :):):):) up, and dwelling on it is pointless. Lamenting things you can't change doesn't accomplish anything useful for anyone, including yourself.
Oh, and here I thought this was a forum for discussions...

The way I see it, WotC are trying to show us how wonderful DDI is and at the same time show us how wonderful D&D4 will be. We are discussing how well they are doing that. And you call that "lamenting"?

Wow... people really do look for any excuse to show something they've already decided to hate is hate-able...

This attempt to bring aggro into the thread is unwelcome. I've got to ask you to leave this thread.

You are probably rather close with that guess.

Originally Dragon #360 was to be October issue, #361 November, #362 December, and #363 the January issue. So the preview actually tells us what is scheduled for Dragon #362 and #363 respectively.

Then the publishing schedule gets changed so #361 becomes the November/December issue, #362 January/February, and #363 to March/April issue. However, noone thought of changing the preview article.

It is still a bad sign, though. Publishing a preview article on December 18 which has not been updated for the most recent information is not a good way to utilise the strengths of the web. For print products it's understandable (i.e. the info in R&C is somewhat outdated at publication), but for web publication it's inexcusable.
