We're outnumbered. Stand down."</span></p><p></p><p>In the back of the chamber, the slinger nods, and the battle seems to be coming to a close. Hedge slings his mace onto his shoulder and sighs.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: Green">"We're at an impasse. You six are accused of murder. Now I don't know rightly whether you did kill the king or you didn't. That don't make a difference to me or to my superior officers. But I do believe that ye don't want to kill me, and I sure would rather have ye on my side than against me in a fight. Ye say that the assassins are coming here? I might be inclined to believe ye. Supposin' I did, what makes ye think ye could get away from the real killer? If they could kill Lord Hood, couldn't they kill ye just as easily?</span></p><p></p><p>Hedge's other soldier remains alert, still suspicious of these negotiations. Corporal Hedge waits for a moment, then looks quizzically at the group.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: Green">"How in the blazes did ye even get out of that cell?"</span></p><p></p><p>[sblock=Round 4 NPC Actions]They all delay their actions while Corporal Hedge negotiates.[/sblock]</p><p></p><p>[sblock=ooc]Even though the fight is pretty much over, I'll still wait for a response from everybody before we move on.[/sblock]</p></blockquote><p></p>
