Squeal's opportunity attack against Claymore misses, but Squeal chases the villain down, and in an incredible display of power, manages to cleave his blade deep into the enemy warforged's shoulder. Before he falls to the ground, Crag mumbles, "You - you bastard. You'd murder your old pal? Munsu's dagger in your back, Squeal. Gods damn you." His red eyes go black, and he falls in a heap. Claymore is clearly incapacitated, although still alive. The upstairs room is clearly the bedchamber of Lord Hood. The bed is furnished with an ornate set of silken blankets (some of them still caked in blood from the mysterious attack). A small desk sits in the corner, and the floor around it is littered with paper. A stained-glass window next to the desk overlooks the main garden of the castle, and on the opposite wall of the room hangs a portrait of the king as a youthful warrior. [sblock=ooc]Although Claymore's HP is below 0, he's still alive. You may choose to revitalize him, leave him unconscious, execute him, etc.[/sblock] Downstairs, the mechanical beast shuts down and falls over in a heap. The party may move upstairs uninhibited if they so choose. The encounter is now over. With one guard dead and another wounded, and with an incapacitated assassin upstairs, what do you do? [sblock=ooc]Now that we're out of combat, you can discuss Crag's fate, deal with the surviving guard, or whatever you want.[/sblock]
