[QUOTE="DistractingFlare, post: 5117827, member: 86189"] Torath's holy blast scorches the swampy ground in front of the plant creature, but doesn't quite harm it. However, he succeeds in blocking line of sight to the queen and his wounded comrade. Thorn's attack barely misses, falling short by less than an inch. The assassin looks at Thorn, recognizing her instantly as another changeling, and thus as a worthy foe. [sblock=End of Round 1] Hero Status Squeal: Has taken 13 damage. Doren: 2/36 (Bloodied, Ongoing 5 Acid Damage, Blind) Baern: 34/34 Thorn: Has taken 0 damage. Torath: 46+11/46 NPC Status Queen Springseer: Unharmed Enemy Status Plant Creature 1: Taken 0 damage. Plant Creature 2: Taken 0 damage. Assassin: Taken 0 damage. (1 Shroud) Enemy Defenses Plant Creatures: AC > 18, FORT > 15, REF > 12 Assassin: FORT > 11, WILL > 16 *NOTE TO Shayuri and Phaezen: Would you please post your stat block at the end of your combat posts? That would help me keep track of your defenses and HP much more efficiently. Thanks![/sblock] The acid that has been eating through Doren's armor wears him down. Suddenly, he falls unconscious. [sblock=Doren]Because ongoing damage occurs at the beginning of your turn, you won't have a chance to act this round. Instead, Doren needs to make a death saving throw.[/sblock] The assassin, seeing Doren fall unconscious, maneuvers around the tree and launches another spear at the Queen. This one hits its mark, puncturing her royal vestments. Springseer grits her teeth and pulls the spear from her shoulder. [COLOR="Yellow"]"Coward!"[/COLOR] Meanwhile, one of the plant creatures attempts to take advantage of Squeal's reckless charge, but its swipe misses. The other creature, seeing Torath preparing another strike, rushes him and swings at him. It manages to hit him, although Torath easily shrugs its off. [sblock=Torath]Torath takes 8 damage.[/sblock] [sblock=Round 2 Actions]Assassin moves to J12. Assassin makes RBA against Springseer, hits. Plant Creature 1 moves to G5. Plant Creature 1 makes MBA against Torath, hits for 8 damage. Plant Creature 2 makes MBA against Squeal, misses.[/sblock] [/QUOTE]
