4E value < 3E value

I don't play 4E, but I like the two-book format for campaign sourcebooks. I like having a little more control over how much my players know about the game world.

Off topic, but as a 4e fan, do I have to believe and defend every statement made by another 4e fan? Should I be held accountable for their statements? Statements like this bother me because it paints the members of the board as two large groups, with no crossover, a unified agenda, and group consciousness.

No. But (and it wasn't you, if I recall correctly) blaming one "anti-4E" poster for being impolite, but not blaming the pro-4E poster that called the OP "Nonsense" is rather hypocritical.

If one complains about edition warriors, complain about both sides, not just "your" side.

You didn't address me, you referred to me. Though you didn't realize it, since you couldn't recall who it was you were referring to.

Edit: And though it's clear you were referring to me, you did get it wrong by calling me "pro-4E". I've never played 4E. I plan to try it when my two 3.5 campaigns are done, but I'm far from certain that I'll be switching to it.
