I've played a three WoT d20 campaigns. WoTC's campaign setting was pretty good, I was especially pleased by the magic system they implemented in the game. It allowed you to channel spells of higher level, or to make them more potent, but doing so weakened you and had a chance to "burn" the ability to cast right out of you. I felt it maintained the flavor of the WoT novels.

The current 3.5 magic system does not lend itself well to WoT. No idea of how they are handling 4th edition yet.
