Hey, I've had to cancel my Alcatraz get-together for NTL on Thurs. because they're imposing a $500 prepaid minimum this year...how are you getting around that? If you are, can we try to link our efforts?

Well, there is one downtown business that put away the welcome mat this year.

Based on the lack of love from Alcatraz, I've found a new location.

I've been able to get us in at Houlihans, but not until 7pm. There isn't anyone that will take reservations ahead, but I'm going to call ahead to get us in here.


So, we will meet at 7pm in front of the ENWorld Booth on Saturday.

After dinner, around 9ish we will search out an empty area for the game. Once we've found the location, I'll post a sign at the ENWorld booth with our location so people can stop by.

I signed a $200 contract last year. I was not willing to sign on for $500. So the location has changed to Houlihans. (We may have a small wait, but it shouldn't be bad).

Well crap. That rules me out for dinner. I have something at 8PM.

I'll swing by the booth at 7PM and say hi. If you guys know where you'll be playing the Cthulhu game by then, I'll swing by about 10:30 to kibitz and shoot the breeze.

Another Nothingland dinner is being held on Thursday evening at 5pm at Claddagh Irish Pub. It's 21+ only, but it should be a great time.

yeah, no kidding.

my current status: looking bleak but a glimmer of hope (translation: lots of bills looming in the near future, but i have enough money socked away to have a good time all the same). i'll let you know when a firm decision is made either way.
