Please do get Advanced d20 Magic. I think you'd enjoy it, based on your reaction to Slayers.

Psion said:Vascant - How easily extensible is NPC Designer? I am not in the market for a "core only" designer. I use scads of third party d20 stuff, and if I can't put it in easier than I could write up the NPC by hand, it's not worth my time (this has been the consistent failing of all the electronic support on the market). Tall order, I know.
Auld Grump - it'd be cheaper to buy the Print version of Wilderlands stuff. And compared against below, that's not seeming like a bargain. Not to mention that I talked myself out of getting wilderlands a month ago (and got blasted for doing it publicly...) Campaign Planners I already have. DL gives me hives. And I don't think there is a Legends & Lairs volume I don't have... I rounded out my collection when they had their $5 sale.
Right now I'm looking at:
- Blood and Space Bundles $16.95
- Curses $4.00
- DM Design Kit $3.96
- Conjurer: Core Specialist Wizard $1.40
- Diviner $1.40
- Evoker $1.40
- Transmuter $1.40
- Under the Mountain 4 $2.99
- Blackmoor $17.14
Which comes out to a bit over 50.
With some hankering for:
- Advanced Magic ($18.40)
- Mastering Iron Heroes ($7.20)
- Sanctum & Sigil ($15.11)
- Folkloric - Sahasra ($7.95)
I could swap out Curses + DM Design Kit for Sahasra or Mastering Iron Heroes
or
Drop the Blood & Space Bundle or Blackmoor for Both, or for Advanced Magic or Sanctum & Sigil.

Buy.com Print- 20.99
The 20% off coupon would put them just about even, but even then, I see added value in print.
