Zivar looks down at the ring before him. The trinity cut on the stone accentuated the silver and gold braided band quite well. He smiles, it's perfect. Surely the senior student that commissioned it would be happy with it. This ring was a milestone for Zivar. With most of his attention going to working on his schooling he didn't have much time for his trade and bartering away things had surely made raising money take longer than it should have. But with this he would have enough for the ritual he's just finished copying into his spellbook and he would finally get to try it. The Elf Josidiah Lorathyra looked down his nose at Zivar as always, he was a bit full of himself and if Zivar were honest with himself he looked forward to some day showing him up, but for now it's business, he needed the 10 gold profit he would make from this ring to get the supplies needed for his spell. "Here is is, everything as you requested. You will see that the cut of the stone you gave me for it is perfect." Zivar said with pride. Josidyah inspected the ring. "I suppose it will have to do" He said as he handed over the coin purse. By the Gods I don't like him Zivar forced a smile. "Pleasure doing business with you Josi!" The use of the shortened name drew the cold glare Zivar figured it would. "Have a great day and I hope the lucky lady enjoys the ring." Zivar walked away, knowing that Josidyah had purchased the ring for himself. Later in the evening Zivar was working in one of the classroom labs, A brass brazier burning in front of him his head down, looking through the things he had gotten that day. Charcoal, Incense, herbs, everything he should need. He flexed his fingers a moment before starting to read aloud, deftly moving his hands and ceremoniously placing items in the brazier to be consumed by the flames. Smoke rose and began to swirl and change colors and begin to take form. Zivar watched with amazement as the cat before him stretched, jumped gracefully down off the table and started rubbing against his leg.
