But lately his attention had been focused on Raven, and there was a twisted knot in Asherah’s stomach whenever she saw Quentin following the beautiful upperclassman around. It was odd. He wasn’t even tabaxi! “What is it you want to show me?” she asked Zivar, curious as ever. “I can show you something, too, while we wait.” She reached back and took up her spear. With a thought, it started to shrink until she was holding a foot long dagger instead. “And it still flames,” she told Zivar, igniting the blade for a moment.
