In session zero, I go over my banned/adjusted content. I also mention that if there is something they want from a third party, to talk to me about it, and we'll go over it on a case-by-case basis. I truthfully enjoy third-party content (especially spells) because they make great magic items, but there are some stinkers out there, that I'd rather not have the player get excited about if I don't want it at the table.</blockquote>
