It's interesting to look at this game and ask, "How is D&D NOT this game? What sets it apart?" In other words, even though this game looks perfectly fun, why SHOULDN'T 5e go in this direction? (or should it?)

From the few shots I saw on the site, the only drawback it has to D&D is that I do not see any non-combat aspects; unless they have some other cards posted elsewhere, this strikes me as being more in common with the recent D&D boardgames than the D&D RPG line.

Still looks like it will be loads of fun.
