Alchemist's Supplies 7 + 1 = 8 Prior to 5E, I got a lot of use out of my alchemy non-weapon proficiency in AD&D in identifying potions; much more dangerous than using the identify spell (since you have to sample them!) but better roleplaying and sometimes you get hilarious outcomes from the Potion Miscibility table!
