5rog/3ftr looking for advancement advice

Can you undo the 3rd level in Fighter?

If not..may as well go to Fighter 4, it's the only reason to be Fighter 3. If you do that, you want Weapon Focus, Weapon Specialization, and Melee Weapon Mastery (slashing, or whatever damage type you plan to use).

Can you undo your feats? The Spring Attack line is incredibly bad. I'd dump all of it.

I have already started retraining and will undo all the spring attack progression (dodge is meh and mobility and spring attack are the worst feats in the world). I will go fighter 4 when i get to level 9 for double feat and extra BAB that's for sure. As for feats what would you suggest? The weapon focus chain isn't bad indeed.

As for factotum...obviously i can't take him cause i'll be getting XP penalty for multiclassing a third class. Otherwise i would have already stopped my stupid rogue progression

I played a Dwarf Rg/Ftr and went Rg5/Ftr4/Rg6-11 before the campaign ended, with no plan to use a PrC. I wanted the bonus feats available from Rg 13 and 16.

I TWF'd with large DwWarAxes (Oversized TWF, StongArm Bracers, Sizing weapon enhancement). He was the direct damage dealer in the party, very few opponents lasted more then one full attack. Axe Focus (DwFtr1RSL), Weapon Spec, MWM, TWF, ImprTWF, Oversized TWF. At rg 10, I took Crippling Strike since a full attack could give the enemy 10 str damage. 5 attacks at 2d8+18 (+10 for offhand) +6d6 and 2 str damage from sneak attacks.

Ironically, despite finding a Keen Waraxe early on, I rarely got a critical with him.

See if you can take the alternate class feature from Dungeonscape that lets you deal half SA to creatures normally immune in exchange for Trapsense.

I played a Human Rg5, Chameleon 7 for a while, and he was pretty bad ass also. Self cast Girallon's Blessing for 4 attacks with sneak dice and rend. Able Learner, Weapon Finesse, Telling Blow, 2wpn fighting, Impr TWf, ImprCrit, plus a variable feat, usually ImprInit.

If C.Adv. is available, every melee rogue should have Staggering Strike. No exceptions. If Champions of Ruin is available, every Rogue should take Craven. Note the damage is based on character level, not class leel, so being multiclass doesn't hurt you.

And ditto on the suggestion of Penetrating Strike alternate class feature. You may also want to look at Dungeoncrasher Fighter alternate class feature (ACF), also from dungeonscape. Works best with a Goliath and the knockback feat, though. Also of interest is the Zhentarim Fighter ACF, which is available as a free pdf supplement online from WotC's website. It literally just gives you freebies. All related to demoralizing and intimidating, if you're into that. Note that with charisma 15, you can qualify for Imperious Command (can't find the full text online, but that table entry basically covers how it works), which is an AMAZING feat. Which you could combine with things like Intimidating Strike. And/or the Never Outnumbered skill trick from C.Scoundrel. For the price of 2 skill points, lets you demoralize all foes within 10 ft when you demoralize someone, so with a reach weapon and Enlarge Person, you could Intimidating Strike someone 20 ft away and intimidate everyone around you as well, and leave them all cowering. I did this before, it's very fun, although setting it up is a little on the suicidal side. :)

EDIT: Drow of the Underdark also has the Hit and Run ACF for Fighter, which is great for fighter/rogues. Lose some armor proficiencies for an initiative bonus and the ability to add dex to damage against flatfooted enemies.

If you could squeeze in warblade then bloodstorm blade with gauntlets of extended range and far shot then suicide is more likely for the enemy.

ToB is no-no DM won't allow. If it was i would have done a lvl 20 pure swordsage ftw

Besides, the reason it's suicidal is cause Never Outnumbered is within 10 ft of YOU. Not the creature you're demoralizing. So it doesn't matter how far away you're intimidating striking, to get the sexy area debuff, all but the guy you're hitting still need to be within full attack range of you.

Both craven and staggering strike where in my list of next feats so yes im taking them next. Intimidating feats are weird and i definitely don't have any ranks in intimidate skill so i dont think i can get any good from that
