My DM is going to be running a campaign, or at least a few adventures, in Menzoboranzen. Most of the party is drow, but he has approved my role as an Elan Shaper in a sort of Psionic Advisor position. The rest of the party is starting at level 3, putting me with my +0 ecl at level 5 starting off. It's probably, knowing him, going to be a high power campaign. I was wondering what you all would suggest I start with. I thought a headband of intilect +2 and a deepcrystal shortspear, but I'm no expert. He's allowing me to have a Pwafwi (sp?) and boots of elvenkind free as those are pretty much standard among the noble drow.
And, before anyone says anything, yes, the ability scores are really high. Like I said: High Power.
Any suggestions?
