8-sided d4? (Or: "My Google Fu is weak") ...

The 8-sided d4s here:
em4miniatures SPECIALIST POLYDICE
...are bigger than regular 16mm d8s (they're about 18mm I think), so difficult to confuse with them. I've retired all caltrops in favour of them.

Does anyone know where I can get pairs of d6's labeled + and -. I have a pair of these: one is labeled from -1 to -6, the other is labeled from +1 to +6. I bought them from a bin years ago, but I can't find them anywhere online.

Uninked, as typical for Gamescience. Darkish red, with blunt tips. There's no way it can be mistaken for a normal d8 due to the tips.

They're apparently made by Gamescience. If the link goes dead, just search google for "ebay+d4+eight+sided", just don't use the quote marks as part of your search term. It was the very first hit. The ebay selled (g2ch) has been selling them for a while now. I bought mine about a year ago.

I never get them mixed up with my regular d8 because the color is rather different (dull red) and the chopped off tips.

Yeah, I like the looks of those. No way to confuse them with d8s.

As promised, here's a (slightly blurry cellphone) picture from the GenCon Chessex booth. The texture on these is not smooth, but very slightly rough. (Velvety might be more accurate, but not that furry.) Wish I'd picked up a few, but my kids were needing to get going...

That settles it, I'm just plain going to have to figure out some way of going to GenCon next year so I can rifle through tubs of dice.

(To be fair, I have my own tub of dice since I'm nearing 1000 at this point, but that's dice I already own, which are fun but not quite as fun as buying dice.)

Those look like a similar idea to the Gamescience one, though I don't think I've seen the GS one yet in a colour besides dark red. Nifty. I'll have to pick some up at some point if I can. Reminds me, still don't have their 12-sided d4 either.
