To help everyone get into that special Christmas spirit, I'm holding a "sale" on Community Supporter Accounts from today until December 30th. For the sale price of $20 you can buy a 1-year CS account as a gift. The catch - it only applies if you are buying the account for somebody else!
I figured it would be a nice way to get a fellow EN World member a little gift for Christmas. Here's how it works:
1) Purchase the account via Paypal. Do NOT use the usual interface to buy the account - instead, simply pay me directly by Paypal at russ@en-world.freeserve.co.uk. In the "notes" field, include your username and - most importantly - the username of the person you are buying the gift for. This only applies to full 1-year community supporter accounts which usually cost $35; the sale price of the gift account is only $20.
2) I will activate the account manually. If the person you are buying for already has a CS account, I will extend his/her account by one year. If more than one person buys an account for a given person, I will simply add them together.
3) I will also give the purchaser a free 3-month extension as a little way of saying "thank you" for being so generous.
3) I will reply to you by email with a quick message "Like "Done!" or something similar. You should then feel free to contact the person in question and let them know about their Christmas gift. I'd recommend that you PM the person in question to give them their first taste of a CS-only feature!
If you don't use Paypal, you can get the account at RPGNow instead. However, please only use this option if you really can't use Paypal - Paypal makes my life much easier. Make sure you use this link, as it includes a "coupon" which ensures that the account is priced correctly. From RPGNow it costs $22 because RPGNow costs are higher than Paypal-only costs. The link for RPGNow is here (note that you will need to email me separately with the details if you use RPGNow).
