Just a couple I've recently finished. So I thought I'd post some pics.

There is too a reason:

They are darn cool. I especially like the Chainmail bb!

Thanks. :) Yeah, he turned out okay (tho the base is kinda ugly).

Here's another recent one. He's from Kenzer's now-defunct Hackmaster line:

Kind of a "quick & dirty" job, but he'd been waiting in the wings forever, and I curious how to deal with his bluish skin.

Yeti

It's nice to see others have decided to go with the "Blue" Yeti look!

When I originaly painted that one for Kenzer & Company I went with blue skin as it reminded me of the abonibal <sp> snowman from the old Rudolph puppet/stop action movie from when I was a kid!

That one on their site is yours? Neat. It was -of course- the inspiration for my color scheme. I just liked the way the blue and white offset each other. :)

I not sure what it is about the K&C line, but I really like some of those sculpts (above included). I know they tend to be a bit more "cartoonish" than some other companies, but they're still cool. I was sad to see the HM line be mothballed, but I wasn't really surprised, since Kenzer had -IMO- been spreading themselves a bit thin, market-wise.

I see you left the bbs on the Reaper bases - don't they keep falling over during game play?

I haven't used them in play yet, but they are a bit unstable. I haven't been to my FLGS in a few weeks, so when I go I plan on picking up some blank round bases to mount these on. The "broccoli bases" are all well & good, but they don't look that great and they do tend to topple.

(I also need to get some flow extender so I can stop thinning with tap water :) )

Fender washers work pretty well for round bases too.

You know Joe Orteza, multiple Golden Demon award-winner, told me he only uses water to thin his paints. It amazed me because his blends are very subtle.
