A culinary adventure I don't want...

I love seafood. When it comes to sushi I like octopus, eel, sea urchin, and conch. I get a yearly craving for conch fritters.

But oddly enough I cannot stand the taste, smell, or texture of poultry (though I do eat eggs and keep chickens as pets).

I'm a creole- if I didn't like seafood, I'd lose my Ah-Yeeee license. About the only aquatic critter I've tried and haven't liked was sea cucumber. They're pretty flavorless, but their gristly/cartilageonous texture is pretty much like you'd expect from looking at them- aquaturds.

Back to this, though- i like fresh, but I draw the line at "still moving".

It's just that the salt in the soy sauce triggers the not yet dead neurons. The thing as such is dead, otherwise it would be animal cruelty.

Sea cucumber tastes remarkably like jellyfish, which in turn tastes remarkably like a rubber band. ;)

Awww... c'mon... a pearlfish has to live somewhere ;)

Re: Jellyfish

Well, I was literally just a few hours ago talking about having missed out on a chance to try jellyfish...now I'm glad that ship has sailed.

That is one impressive dump.

But if the PCs agitate the Dire Legendary Celestial Giant Sea Cucumber, they will soon find themselves outside of the Dire Legendary Celestial Giant Sea Cucumber...when it goes *BLEARGH-SQUIRTLE*.
