A d10 Inside A d10

Maybe you guys have seen something like this before but I never have. Thought I should share it here: A translucent d10 with a tiny d10 inside of it, for rolling percentages: http://www.awesomedice.com/KPL12597BLUE . This sounds like it could be kind of amazing, though I would be interested to see it put to a rolling test to see if the result of the inside die is bounded too heavily by its initial orientation inside the bigger die.

I've seen dice inside of dice in person before and while they are okay, they have one major flaw that makes me not want to have them rolled in my presence: the horrible horrible sound they make when you roll them. Nails on chalkboard.

A friend of mine has one. It's nice, but as nms says it's rather noisy. It's not a solution to a problem it's just something amusing, like many other dice: spherical d6 or even dice of different colors. It's not like you need them, but some people enjoy them.
