Indeedy-do. I'm thinking powerful artifacts granted to an undeserving party by a "mysterious benefactor". Like weapons that do an extra few dice of damage when used... the HP inflicted are actually being channeled vampiricly to the evil demi-god... or the healing item is giving the evil one a cumalative % chance of controlling the healed character...
