D&D 5E A fan adventure that looks great... I wonder who wrote it?

It's not very well written. Rather painful to read, in fact.

Also, I think the author might be setting themselves up for some lawsuits by not only copying the official 5e graphic style but also by using copyrighted images they no doubt found on google.

The credits actually give the names of the artists. No idea if they gave permission or not, but I'm not going to make accusations without knowing what's going on.

The image on page 2 is from The Elder Scrolls Online and was not created by the deviantart user "ravenwood22" that the adventure's author credits. I think it might be available as a desktop wallpaper image or something. Even so, I'm sure there'll be some sort of "personal use only; no derivative works" clause.

EDIT: The image from page 3 is copyrighted to Games Workshop and Fantasy Flight Games. It also cannot be downloaded from the deviantart site. I would say thanking the artist isn't going to cut it in this case.

So yeah ... there are definitely some copyright issues with this.

Well, in the author's half-hearted defense, this is a very short adventure posted anonymously to reddit. It's not a good case-study in how to legally produce high-production value content for 5e, but it's also probably not worth a whole lot of energy from the WoTC legal department.

I don't know that I'd recommend putting it up for sale on DriveThruRPG, though.
