(And before you tell me that a character wielding a weapon two-handed [somehow] isn't attacking with a weapon in his off hand, take a look at the buckler description in the PH and ask yourself if you really want two-handed fighters to get the buckler's shield bonus even without the feat...)

I know it isn't a feat and it's expensive but it always striked me as odd.
Tatsukun said:One of the things in 3.5 that hurts my brain is if a TWF with a buckler gets the -1 to attacks. That'd be odd because a TWF with a small or large shield doesn't get a penalty.
