Hey all,

I was wondering where can I find the Dragon Born Gnome? Also, what is preferable for a Beguiler Build? Whisper Gnome or Dragon Born Gnome?

Last Question of the day :) =

I see in alot of builds that they put in Feats:
Beguiler 1 Heighten Spell (1) Earth Sense (F) Earth Spell (F)

I know that I get 1 Feat at 1st level, but what are these two feats? The reason I ask is because I see this style in alot of builds. how do you get 3 feats at the begining? sorry btw, if its a super stupid/simple/beginer question, I appoligize in advance :)

Thanks,

Al

Human would get one extra feat at first level, and the third feat would probably result from taking a flaw. EDIT: Ah I understand now...the (F) after the feat refers to the fact that they were taken by taking 2 flaws.

I have no idea about the gnomes. And as for what is preferred...whatever fits your character concept. Or are you aiming for a munchkin...er...optimized build.

I'm not so much aiming for a munchkin build as more of a reference point of what is possible. In my group, i'm by far the least "strategic" when making a character, and I tend to suffer because of that. My group is not into optimization really, but some stuff has some cool abilities and they are not afraid to make the calculations and see if its worth it or not :).

I was just wondering how people put in 3 feats, but i'm going to take a look at the Flaws (in phb II i think)..cause thats really neat that you can do that and it has some good RP values in it. I'll check it out...

Thank you very much :)

Anyone know for the gnome part of the question?

Thanks,
Al

Regarding dragonborn gnomes, the only thing I can think of would be the dragonborn from Races of the Dragon. I don't have the book with me, so I don't know the specifics, but IIRC dragonborn is more like a template applied on top of your race rather than a separate race in and of itself. It's not a true template (like fiendish, etc.), but very similar.

And if you have Dragon magazine, there are more flaws in issues #324 - #329 and #333.
