thought vampire needs one or more of the following for balance:

Dispellable
Limited Duration
Stacking Issues removed by switching the bonus to Enc.
MUCH highr lever (9th at least, I'd say. better in some ways than using wish to raise your int)
XP component
Longer casting time, in the order of hours.
