A forgotten Gnome

For an upcomming campaign with 2 of my friends, my math teacher and possibly the deputy head(I'll explain later) In the Forgotten realms.

I'm going to play a gnome ranger(possibly druid for some spells). He doesn't have to worship Mielklili, those Scimitars rock.

Esstl,
........Torben Esstl:rolleyes:

Aren't Medium scimitars too big for a Small gnome to dual-wield?

Scimitars?

Skip the Scimitars. Best combo is to dual-wield small clubs, and cast Spikes (DotF) and Shillelagh on each. Perhaps even get craft wand spell to make wands for each spell as well (both would be fairly cheap).

If he has Monkey Grip (S&F) he could do it. But the penalties to hit would be -6 on each hand, even assuming TWF and Ambidexterity (without, they'd be -8/-12- good luck!)

Whoops, in the excitement I forgot to ask, do you have any tips?(1 handed, inless you have an explanation for me duel weilding a Sickle and a kukri?)

I would suggest picking up the Gnome issue of Dragon magazine (291? I forget). It has a lot of good suggestions on different kinds of gnomes - even a Giant-killer! They have different subraces as well, like River, Arcane, and one other I believe. Much more info, too.

Awh, THANKS! I've done more researching, he's going to live in High dale, he'll have the blooded feat,(I cross referanced, ranger sites and gnomes, then looked for the best feats, then looked for the highest concentration of gnomes), Ride a dire goat IP, and at level 4 get a Raccoon companion, then take The raccoon bandit PrC, I'm not sure what weapon he'll have(definate dagger) Warhammer and a pick maybe...I still need loads of help!
