A map of a... hole.

Baroness

First Post
It's late and I can't sleep, so I decided to try my hand at making a map in photoshop, mostly to learn the technical aspect rather than to create a map that would be useful. I ended up creating a hole, for some reason. I don't know if this map can be useful to anyone, but here it is anyway. The original was a bit bigger but I reduced the size from 900x900 to keep the size of the file down.

Suggestions and criticism welcome. :) I am aware of a few problems with the map: I seem to have messed up the grid a bit, and it looks a bit cartoony in places. I also need ideas for locations to map, because holes don't make very interesting maps.

It kinda looks like a huge crater. the map would be useful for that.
I know what to map dome seaside caves. the smugglers havee left some nasty suprises for the unexpecting.

Looks good.

Could be useful.

Took me a moment to figure out that you ment elevation with the numbers.

You should add some more eye-candy. And try to personalize your art, at the moment they're far too generic. (They're very cool though!)

Thanks for the comments and suggestions, I'll make good use of them. :)

I must admit I am a bit short of ideas on how to fill the cave at the moment.

A demon cult. The cave needs a demon cult! :D With a glamoured wall serving as the cult's main entrance. That'd be sweet.
