D&D 5E A Modest Proposal - A Moratorium on D&D Next Mechanics Discussions

I've put a moratorium on myself against all modest proposals not explicitly involving paedovory, or at least remaining neutral on humble conjectures not containing oblique references to the economics of land reform and industrialization, thank you every much.

So, y'know, lets talk over lunch.

Meanwhile, though your point about the game bearing little resemblance to what was playtested is valid and should be kept in mind, a moratorium on conversation is a bit heavy-handed, and there's little harm in conjecture. I would say instead, don't read those threads, and start threads about what you would prefer to talk about!

Response to OP (satire)

There is one problem with eating children. If we eat children who will be the next generation of D&D players?

The problem with your (tongue-in-cheek) idea for me is that I am currently running a DnDNext playtest campaign, and so I discuss rules so that I know how to DM the game properly according to the latest public rules. I'm fully aware that I will have to change things and tweak things once the books come out. :)

Clearly, with Wizards of the Coast's massive D&D-player child cloning initiative ready to go next century, eating children must continue to be an option.
