Yes, another giant.
Comments are as always welcome, of the different giants I have posted over the weeks, this is the one most suitable as a PC race, so tell me what you think.
Giant, Lowland
Large Giant (Earth)
Hit Dice: 8d8+16 (52 hp)
Initiative: +4 (Improved Initiative),
Speed: 40'
AC: 14 (-1 size, +2 natural, +3 hide)
Attacks: Huge greataxe +10/+5 melee; or rock +5/+0 ranged
Damage: Huge greataxe 2d8+7; or rock 2d6+5
Face/Reach: 5' by 5'/10'
Special Attacks: Rock throwing
Special Qualities: Rock catching, damage reduction 5/-,
Saves: Fort +8, Ref +2, Will +3
Abilities: Str 21, Dex 11, Con 15, Int 10, Wis 12, Cha 10
Skills: Craft (Any) +4, Listen +5, Spot +5,
Feats: Improved Initiative, Power Attack (-6/+6),

Lowland Giants are one of seven races of giants native to the oriental continent of Rhiran (the other six being Bamboo, Highland, Jade, Obsidian, the Ogre Mage, and the Wang Liang.)
A Lowland Giant resembles a large muscular human, with bronze skin, and red, brown or black hair. Their eyes are usually brown or green. Male Lowland giants usually grow large beards, similar to those of dwarves.
Lowland giants, can live to reach the respectable age of 300 years.
Combat:
Lowland Giants relish combat, and fight with great glee. Usually wading in swinging their great-axes. If fighting a larger force, they usually start by softening up their opponents with thrown rocks.
Damage Reduction (Ex): Lowland Giants damage reduction stacks with the damage reduction granted by the Barbarian Class.
Lowland Giant Society:
Lowland Giants are mostly nomadic, spening most of their time as hunter/gatherers, although a few tribes have started to breed elephants or camels.
Lowland giants although warlike, are relatively peaceful as giant races go, and will usually rather barter and drink with the people they meet than fight. But if angered or wronged, they are a force to be reconned with.
The Jade empire has at least 100 lowland giants in it's army's employment.
Lowland Giant Characters:
Lowland Giants favor the barbarian class, and most Lowland Giant leaders are either Barbarian/Sorcerers or Barbarian/Shamans. Lowland Giant Shamans usually chose among the following Domains: Ancestor, Fury, Nature, Stone, or War. Although they are by no means limited to these choices. Lowland Giants can never become Monks, Samurai, Sohei, or Shugenja, it's just not in their nature.
A Lowland Giants ECL is: +8
