A New Hope Returns to Theaters in 2027 for 50th Anniversary Celebration

The last time I saw the original trilogy in theaters was in Dallas circa 1993. A local theater decided to show all three movies in one sitting and a bunch of my friends and I went to see them. Han did shoot first as I recall.

I saw the first three movies in a row, in the theatre, when Return of the Jedi came out in 1983. It was amazing to rewatch the first two and then view Return for the first time ever!

They are not even going to roll out more garbage to milk the franchise this time? How many more movies are going to want to do this? Too bad we missed Chinatown last year.

I watched Terminator 2 and Mad Max 2 last year in a theater.
It was great as I never watched those in theater before.

For Terminator 2 it was packed, people were sitting on the stairs and standing at the back.
