Doh! I knew I forgot something. Yes it's similiar, but it got a very SL focused random wilderness encounter to it. However it works more on climates/terrains than CR ratings.

Aye, I saw the Wilderness Encounter guide at my local store, and it looked awesome! It had encounters broken down into the various terrain types on Scarn, as well as rules for weather effects. (which I've noticed in various products S&S like to include).

As someone with a background in Geology - as well as a strong interest in Meteorology, this book had me drooling. Time to start saving those pennies :)

Yeah, I already printed it out, and plan on using that small adventure as a springboard not only into the Amphora Trilogy, but the whole campaign :)

I'm not using that series in my campaing because my players are in the wrong are and will too powerfull by the time that they could get there.

Keep us posted as to how it goes, it looks like it is prety well written.
