Looks like you have been around since Feb 18. What is taking so long?

The Free Gaming Association does not exist simply to work on a respository. And as a non-profit organization, in it's first year, we quite a few other things that we've had to work on and still have to work on. Everything from legal paperwork for the corporation's status, to networking with publishers to gain their trust so that they'll co-operate with you, to actually doing work on your projects like:

1) OpenDie Logo

2) The Prometheus Gaming System
http://thefga.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=5

3) Partnering with publishers, such as WotC -- To help get d20 Modern out to publishers, and of course to help expidite the d20 Modern OGC out to people.

4) Gather sponsorships from publishers (for prizes), to run a contest where 100% of the entries will be republished as OGC in our repository and in a book of monsters that will be released freely over the net.

5) Get word out about what the Free Gaming Association is, so that we can recruit people to help with projects -- rather then compete with them -- by attending conventions, handing out newsletters, meeting with publishers. The following were passed out at:
GAMA -- http://thefga.com/article.php?sid=5
Origins -- http://freegamingassociation.org/articles/OGR_1.pdf

And finally, but still on the project list -- thus it is being worked on -- and Open Gaming Content Repository. There are two pieces you can look at RIGHT NOW.

1) The OGC Directory at the Open Gaming Exchange where we have approximately 100 products in various staging of index

2) Here is preview of what we are thinking of for The Archive Project (TAP) which will actually contain all the OGC. These are screen captures of our Beta Site
http://theFGA.com/tap/

Again, people interested in working on the OGC Repository project, or any of the Free Gaming Associaiton's projects should contact me directly at mcortez@ogexchange.com

We currently run a number of mailing lists, and do most of our development discussion's via email.
