Kellri's Old School Encounters Reference: Thou shalt download it now!

I know this is quite gauche of me to quote myself in the very next post...

But I can't emphasize enough how cool this is. And it's free! Anyone who has any semblance of interest in OD&D or 1e needs to check this out. It's sort of like the Rogues Gallery, JG's Ready Ref Sheets, and all the cool charts and tables from the DMG all rolled up into one.

THAT is awesome cool.

All I see on that link is a blank white screen...which might be an accurate if unintended editorial comment on my DM skills being poor enough as to be undeserving of such a wondrous reference...either way, it's not much use. :)

As for the old-school dream team, I'd take everything and then a bit more. It's all useful somehow, sometime...

Actually, just tonight I realised something. There are PDFs available of most oldschool D&D material, and you can copy and paste from most PDFs.

For anyone who has the will, their personal edition of D&D can be compiled relatively easily from hundreds of D&D and AD&D books, articles and modules. Pick and choose your favourite monsters, magic items, spells and rules, and put them all in the one place.

You could even have the resulting book printed and bound (not sure of copyright issues, but if you own the PDFs, would this be fair use?)

That's pretty cool. The possibilities are downright frightening.

Heck, you could even fix the thief while you were at it.

PS Was there ever a 2E or earlier Warlock class constructed, and if so, where is it? I have a dim recollection that something was put together for Baldurs Gate II: Throne of Bhaal.
