A Prayer for e23's Scott Haring

Last week I noticed that none of the new products I had sent to e23 had been uploaded, nor had I received notice from Scott about them, which is very strange, diligent as he is. So I decided to swing by the SJGames forums, and I came across this:

From SJGames Daily Illuminator, "We're very sorry to report that Scott Haring, our e23 editor, was in a serious traffic accident (see news article here) while returning home after July 4. His youngest boy was killed, and Scott required immediate surgery. Our thoughts are with Scott and his whole family right now. When we have more information, we'll share it."

To the best of my recollection, I have not see anything announced about this around here, and I figured you'd all want to know.

My prayers are definitely with Scott and his family. May G-d help them to recover and overcome this tragedy.

I'm not certain if there was mention of it on ENWorld but I recall seeing news of the accident on several industry folks' blogs. My prayers are still with Scott and his family and I'd be interested in hearing any updates.

I don't know what to say. As a dad of two young kids, I can only begin to imagine the pain of their loss.

My heart and best wishes go out to them.

I really hope the best for Mr Haring and his family. Yesterday, when I read this, it hurt too much to even reply.
