A question about this wonderful book: Iron Heroes

The Persian

First Post
I started reading from this book 20 odd minutes ago when writing up my new Fighter. I was hooked after skimming about 15-30 pages or so!

I've seen it for sale online, via PDF and hardcover on Amazon.com. I was wondering, if i call in Barnes and Nobles to order it, is there a good chance it would be available in a store? I buy online every now and then (just got the CC OST) but in the case of books, I prefer to buy them in person.

The cover price is $37.99. At Amazon you'd pay about $25. I've never seen it in B&N or Borders.

Thanks, that's rather steep, but since the most I get in books is 1, maybe 2 a month, I don't mind shel...paying that much this time.

If it appears in their instore system they should be able to special order it for you quickly. However, since you're already sold, why not just by it from Malhavok's online store if you're willing to pay full price? I'm sure they get a bit more cash in hand that way even going through White Wolf? I'm unsure of that, though.

Iron Heroes is definitely available from Barnes and Noble.

I snagged up my copy from the Barnes and Noble in Onalaska just yesterday.

They had only one copy remaining on the shelf when I arrived. I didn't see the other book I had come for (Spycraft 2.0), so Iron Heroes was my only RPG purchase that day.

And I am loving this book. The character classes, the Feat Masteries, and the system for doing stunts rock. The PCs are generally meant to be badasses from the word go, and can mop the floor with the majority of the NPC-classed minions the GM throws at them. If the GM's looking for named villains and lieutenants to give the PCs a serious fight, he has only to look to the PC classes and the Monster Manual.

Now all I need to do is come up with a suitable world where these badasses can come out and play.
