A Question on Druids

Well, when Fred posted this, I had to go look it up cause I thought he was wrong. I was surprised to see it not there, but I can see why after our many discussions on it.

fell - according to one of those posts fell means field or moor. Where they got that, I dunno.

There is an alternative meaning for fell, I believe that means cruel, evil, dastardly, that sort of thing. He felled him with one fell swoop! To knock down with a vicious swipe...

One of the things you'll see when you get a real copy of the Player's Handbook is that color conveys meaning in the graphic design. Specifically, at-will powers get green headers, encounter powers get red, and dailies get black.

When we started talking about power attrition and frequency issues in 4e, we didn't have the "real" terminology yet. We talked about powers as "green buttons" (which you could press whenever you want), "red buttons" (which you could push once per encounter), and "black buttons" (which you could push once a day).

In addition, within the 4E PHB, on page 55 under the heading "KEYWORDS" first paragraph, you will read about the colors.

why not just make an elven druid?
all elves can use bows, and swords
but mainly bows

and why does a druid need a bow?
all my druids usually just take throwing spears and a scimitar to use if they get to close

i mean
my #1 druid
Dragwaith, 11th level druid
doesnt have a bow, sure his dire wolf animal companion helps him a lot (since his name means wilderness wolf, it just had to be), but he just uses spells to keep that arms reach
