A Question on SLi Motherboards

Please excuse this totally noob question, but I am unfamiliar with SLi and I was wondering if a SLi motherboard needs two vid cards to work properly or do they do fine with just one installed? (I told ya it was "noob"! )

Yup, one is fine. The motherboard comes with a "bridge" that you need to add the second card, if you ever do.

Oh ... and I think mac desktops come with them too, in case you were wondering.
