Ok, I think it's pretty clear that it is going to be a haiku contest now
Though, at the moment

Haiku is great fun.
But one must never forget
It's more than meter.
Remember that good haiku usually is related to seasons or seasonal change and always should have a "moment of 'ah'-ness" around the last line!
(By the way, it can very well be game related, at least if you're running OA, as I am.)

Ahh, you beat me to it. Yes, of course. A moment frozen in time.
I want to join in
but i don't know what to write
maybe it will come....
OK, I know now
I am going to ask the rules.
What are they, Teflon?
Can we write of trolls
That hides beneath old bridges?
And scares passing kids.
Or dragons that fly
and soar above the the pale sky-
Outstretched wings of gold.
Poems are fun to write
But haikus are somewhat hard
I'll try again soon.

Heh. I'm just pleased as punch that at times I was within swatting distance of Mr. Greathouse and Mr. Billy a few times during the competition. I tried to grab one of them by the ankles and trip them up, but I just ended up face down in the dirt, grit between my teeth.
