A Scarred Lands question for Nightfall

:) You missed the Otossal history idea. I have to say it was a group effort BUT it was a NICE effort. And it was all thanks to Rappen Athuk! ;)

I read it, what a disappointment. Letting a thread that started out talking about my beloved Belsameth degenerate into a thread about some goat head that calls himself Orcus :( ;)

No it was pretty good actually. In my campaign, though, I just use the 1st & 2nd edition Orcus because since I long ago decided that was who Otossal was in my campaign, and since I already introduced some of the background I didn't want to break continuity. But I did like it, it was real good.

My next idea is to make Demogorgon an aspect of Lathsaal and Jubilex an aspect of Luchanig. Of course all three are in turn some of the more powerful lackeys of your idol, Vangal.

And if you think that's something, I should show you what I have worked out with the island of Uria. Of course, I will have to see which I like better once the hardcover is released. But I am quite pleased with what I have so far.

Drendari is chaotic neutral; thus, a chaotic good or chaotic evil follower could take the Chaos domain, but a true neutral follower could not. (Sadly, there is no Neutrality domain yet. ;) )

Neutrality is not an alignment, but an absense of alignment. The one-step rule is well known, but it's amended by a little bit that says that if a deity is not true-neutral, its clerics can't be true-neutral either. Drendari being CN, her clerics have to be chaotic; as they need to share an alignment with their deity, and the only alignment they can share is chaos.

Clerics of a CG deity like Tanil can either share the chaos (and be CN) or goodness (and be NG), or they can share both (and be CG).
