A slightly more challenging powergamer contest

Ok, here's a slightly more interesting challenge than just killing a stupid tarrasque.

The challenge:

Design a 20th level character that can single handedly slay any evil Great Wyrm Dragon from the MM. You can choose the dragon color. Don't forget to describe exactly *how* you can slay a dragon single handedly!

OR

Conversely, design an evil Great Wyrm dragon from the MM that can not be slain by a 20th level character. You can describe the dragon's lair.

If that's too easy, design a great wyrm that can survive being attacked by 4 20th level characters!

Rules:
Wish/miracle spells can only be used to duplicate existing spells or achieve effects described in the rules. For example you can use wishes to achieve an effect that a rule describes as being 'can not be achieved except through the use of a wish or miracle spell'. But you can not use wishes or miracles for anything else.

Okay, a Wiz 19/Clr 1 with a Greater Maximization Metamagic feat rod, Spell Penetration and Greater Spell Penetration feats, and the Luck domain. Teleport Without Error into the lair. You will proabably get a susprise round. As you cast Haste before you teleported, your first partial action will be a targeted Meteor Swarm and then another. We have to roll a 3 to beat spell resistance, and if we fail the roll, we use the Luck domain power to reroll it. Thats 24 * 2 *6 * 2 damage to the Great White Wyrm we're fighting, or 576 damage. A great white wyrm has 522 hitpoints. Now I just wait for BADD to flame me for having a unprepared, unobservant dragon with no contengicies that lets people somehow scry or otherwise view thier lair. In my defence, the wizard is much smarter than the dragon, who only has an 18 intellegence.

What a pussy!

Not only did this dragon have no contingencies up -- and no offense, but an Intelligence of 18 should be sufficient to realize that idiots teleporting in can be dangerous -- but you decided to pick on a WHITE DRAGON. The weeniest of the weenies!

Hell, it's CR is only 20! Which means that you should have an even-up chance against it in a FAIR fight, much less one where you teleport in with a surprise round.

You disgust me! No, wait. I think you disgust all of us :p.

Bla bla Greater spell penetration, bla bla Harm spell, bla bla quickened Inflict Light Wounds bla bla bla....

There's those flames. To help defend myself, I'll answer the other part of the thread and create an unbeatable Great Red Wyrm.

SPELLS:

9th-Disjunction and Miracle
8th-Mind Blank, Screen, and Horrid Wilting
7th-Forcecage, Spell Turning, Greater Scrying
6th-Greater Dispelling, Harm, Heal
5th-Telekinesis, Hold Monster, Cone of Cold, and True Seeing
4th-Stoneskin, Improved Invisibility, Enervation, Bestow Curse
3rd-Protection From Elements, Haste, Slow, Vampiric Touch
2nd-Blur, Mirror Image, Cat's Grace, Darkness, and Acid Arrow
1st-Shield, Obscuring Mist, Identify, True Strike, Magic Missle

FEATS:

Empower Spell, Extend Spell, Power Attack, Cleave, Flyby Attack, Hover, Improved Initiative, Snatch, Wingover, Great Cleave, and Sunder.

LAIR:
This Dragon lives in a cave that lays beneath a once-active volcano. It, and it's horde reside in a enourmous chamber that has only one exit: a small (now cool) lava tube ~6' in diameter. The wyrm uses Polymorph Self to ingress and egress. The entrance is warded with an Alarm spell, set to 90 feet up the tube and set to a mental alarm. The interior of the cavern is warded with Forbiddance and Screen spells. The Wyrm itself is under the effect of a Contingency that casts Heal on the Wyrm if it drops below 100 hitpoints. A double-empowered extended Cat's Grace is in effect on the Wyrm at all times, granting it an average of +7 to dexterity, as is a Mind Blank The lair contains the wyrm, the horde, and one unusual thing: 19,000 crossbow bolts in an pile 10' wide.

TACTICS:
Because of the magical protections on the lair, idiot adventurers are forced to walk the way in, triggering the Alarm, or revealing themselves to the dragon's Blindsight 1200'. As soon as the adventurers are detected, the dragon casts Haste and Protection from Elements (Cold). If time permits, he also casts Improved Invisibility. Upon visual contact with the adventurer(s) the wyrm casts Telekensis, hurling 4750 crossbow bolts at the victim. This does, at the minimum, 237 damage. (Maximum 19000) If this seemed ineffective, he casts Disjunction at the target. He then continues to kill with Telekenisis.

I guess the dragon you beat up wasn't as smart as this one huh? Seeing as how you teleported into its lair and wooped it, hehehe

What about this?

Core Books – Players Hand Book, Dungeon Masters Guide, Monster Manual

Class Books – Sword and Fist, Defenders of the Faith, Tome and Blood, Song and Silence, Masters of the Wild

Forgotten Realms Books – Campaign Setting, Magic of Faerun, Monsters of Faerun, Lords of Darkness

Build a Player Character starting at 1st level. Characters will face off at 1st, 5th, 10th and 16th. Use FR Races, Any alignment, 32 Point Buy.

Prestige classes such as Hospitaler, Templar and Knight of the Great Kingdom are not allowed. Only adventuring classes are allowed. No Psionics or Monster Races either.

Multi-class characters are limited to 4 classes including Prestige classes. Characters can have max gold plus starting bonus equipment for FR region. A character can have a total wealth as per DMG at levels 5th, 10th, and 16th.

Equipment that a character has in the 1st, 5th and 10th level events must be accounted for. If a character does not have an item that was listed in an earlier event the character may take ½ of the market value of that item towards a different item in later events. Single use items used in the arena will be replaced when the event is over; this includes potions and scrolls, but not wands or staffs.

Characters will have 1 minute to prepare for the battle. Only Animal Companions and/or Familiars will be allowed to enter the arena with the character. No creatures may be summoned before the battle begins, but they may be summoned once combat ensues.

Preferred generation method would be PCGEN as you can output your characters to PDF or HTML formats and can be viewed/shared the easiest that way.

I don’t expect a lot of people to want to do this, but it would only take a few to get the ball rolling…

Maybe these characters could be used for a fight-club type of game?

Who is more munchkin, the munchkin who munches the dragon, or the dragon who munches the munchkin?

What's wrong with Knight Protector of the Great Kingdom, or any of these, for that matter?
