Following Conuld's suggestion, Kurgahz finds one of the guards who are trying to keep order around the place. "Here, guard this guy for us. We caught him after he ran from here when the incident happened. He may be involved, or not. Just make sure he doesn't go anywhere so we can question him later after our companions are found. Maybe bind him good if you can. Speaking of our friends, did you happen to see which way they went? Would've been a dwarf and two women, including Shadya yn Hayder." Kurgahz says.

OOC: I'm admittedly unsure of exactly how much damage I've taken. I'll try to go though the thread and see. I just assumed I was unconscious but alive, because that seemed about right.

KC:

Two guards take the unconscious charge and nod. "Dwarf just ran that way, you can hear him calling for your other friends." And as a matter of fact, you can hear him, faintly bellowing something. It shouldn't be difficult to follow him.

The archer's eyes go wide as Lasair stops the bolt. He screams, either in frustration or fear, and flees down into the building.

OOC: Solange, is Shadya unconscious or not? I haven't been keeping track.

(OOC: Rae--I went back through the thread and collected all of the posts where you posted in red for Shadya's damage. Including the nonlethal, I get a total of 20. What I hadn't realised (since she started at level 1) is that Shadya has leveled up to the point that her max is 27. So unless I screwed up, she's probably actually conscious. If not, Lasair will Suggestion him again before he runs off instead of total defense)

OOC: That's what I get to, so...

Shadya pulls herself up off the ground and gathers anything she droped, cursing under her breath, and looking for the quickest way to head up the building she fell down trying to reach.

There's a door on the street (north) side of the building, and a back door which opens up into the alley (south). The back door is a little closer.

Kurgahz follows the pointing finger of the guard and barely hears Cludge bellowing. "Thanks, we'll be back for him later." Kugahz says as he takes off at a trot towards Cludge. "Ya comin' Conuld?" the half-orc calls back...

Conuld follows. "Better split in three than four." Uncertain where the Sairundani who helped are, he directs a message to them. "Thank you. But if you wish to play a further role in these strange events, follow us!"

 

[Solange]

Shadya will head for the back door.

OOC: The two men are right there, they helped you carry the orc to the guards. No need for a message, unless you're using it for dramatic effect. Will Conuld be following?

The two men look at each other for a moment, then look back at Conuld and nod. They take off after Kurgahz, keeping pace with the large half-orc.

In Conuld's arms, the cat begins to stir.

LS:

Shadya, a little dazed, heads for the back door. She reaches it quickly, half-expecting it to be locked, but it's not. She enters to find herself in a poorly lit storage room. The only light comes from a door on the far side of the room. There is a closed door to her right.
