(Lasair's suggestion DC is 16, right?)
Hasan says,
"I'd rather write, thanks."
(Assuming Lasair tries again...) When Lasair asks again, he puts the pen down.
"You're right, I guess. Paper's expensive, I'm just wasting it." He looks very annoyed, but he continues his story through spoken word instead of written. Spoken Sairundani words, to be precise.
[sblock=Sairundani: ]"After this I took my first real job. It was simple enough; I was to collect a debt from a man who owed money to us. I was told to prepare for a fight, since the interest, as usual, was high. This man was just a laborer, but somehow he had the money. I did not have to force it from him, he gave it willingly. I returned to the others with the payment and that night I was invited to a celebration."
He talks about a rather wild night, involving a lot of ale and a camel. Then he rambles on about more jobs he had as a debt collector for the Kaati Shut. He had to beat the money out of a couple of people, but most paid up right away. Never once does he kill a man. Each job he describes in meticulous detail, even throwing in a few names of debtors, all laborers except one low level politician.
"His name was Jeren ai Gef'n, I recall..."[/sblock]
OOC: How long will you be listening to him? The full 6 hours until the suggestion ends? And while I'm thinking about it, I haven't been keeping track of Lasair's PsP reserve. Can you tally it up, Rystil?
