Well we can’t homebrew that. Homebrewing is badwrongfun and we must do things that are approved by wotc with citations. So it would be done as an improvised weapon.

See, I would rule it situationally. The way I see it, the power probably is a slow lift and people have the time to get out of the way.

Now... if the victim doesn't know about the boulder, this is an ambush... then I would allow for some damage. It's just a different way of dropping large rocks on foes.

2 more things about this

1: a large object can be MASSIVE. This could be a 8 foot wide boulder....

2: could you build a raft (I think we can agree a "large object-sized raft" is doable right?) and then move it with people sitting on the raft?
