A tactic idea: Readied Charge + Combat Superiority

Here's an idea I just thought about with a fighter as a way to deal damage AND protect your party.

The fighter moves to the front, and then ready a charge against a creature that moves near a fellow party member. As the monster moves in, the fighter charges. The creature can continue his move, but that activates combat superiority, which can now stop the creature from getting to your friends.

This allows the fighter a lot more mobility in his stickiness. If you move ahead of the group, often times creatures can move around you on their turn. But with a readied charge, you come to them, and stop them before they can get to your team.

Seems like a pretty sound tactic to me, though I'm not sure if "when any enemy moves close to any ally" is a specific enough trigger for a readied action. I know there's nothing specific in the description of a readied action that says how vague the trigger can be, but IMHO you'd have to ready an action for when monster X moves to within Y squares of ally Z.

Still, it could be useful in certain circumstances.
