After working with it a bit, and getting some excellent feedback... changing up the Psi Dice system:

You gain 2d4 at level 1, they increase to d6 at level 2, d8 at 5th, and d10 at 10. You gain additional dice at 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, and 19.

Roll of 1 or 2, you lose that dice.

Roll of maximum value (4, 6, 8, and 10 obviously) you add a dice to your pool up to your current maximum pool size.

Easier to track and manage which dice you have available. Twice as big a chance to lose a dice than gain one, so you do lose dice over time overall, but the higher you get the lower the chance of losing a dice (50% drops to 20%). Of course the higher you get the more likely you are to roll more dice at once on a given power, more chances to lose or gain.

Should probably make a note that you can both lose and gain dice on the same fistful of dice... And there's a concentration class ability that allows you, once per turn, to reroll a 1 or 2 and take the second roll.
