Shrugging at the white wizard's lack of reply, the warrior boldly draws his large recurved bow, yellowed horns at the end of each and a thick leather grip and moves toward the vault door, closely inspecting it, though not laying hands on the enscrolled portal.

ooc; I'll take 20 on the search

Nuria watches Wulfcyne head towards the vault with his weapon drawn. Her eyes narrow in concern and she lowers her eyebrows. Squinting, she asks softly,

Wulfcyne, what did you see?

Crouching down low, the warrior points out the piece of metal (is it steel? Mithrel? Other?), holding the door open and fairly growls, 'Mayhap someone done gone in afore us. Mayhap dis here be a trap o' some kind. Nuria, how's tha key 'ppossed ta work? We must be wary."

Looking around at the rest of the group, Nuria asks Does anyone know of any other group that may have been hired to look for these lost papers? Perhaps our employer has been witholding information from us?

His conical helm shifting along with his large head, Wulfcyne looks over his shoulder at the Wizard, a nasty smile there as he chuckles, 'Take yer pick lass; Kundarak Infiltrators, no doubt powerful 'marks, mayhap supported by the Arum, or mayhap Cannith spies, Warforged among them, an Artificer fer shore. Our'n group got offers from both Houses ta sell out ole Dean Grey, an git tha papers on the Dragonmark research ta them, instead him. Mayhap someone else...?'

I do not believe it was one of the groups that approached us. If they had access to this vault they would not need our help. Although I do not believe our employer is deceiving us either. Judging by the attention we got on the lightning rail I believe it is well known that the information we seek is missing. It could be any number of factions trying to get it. We must proceed with caution.

Rising, Wulfcyne nods in agreement with Links, the warrior's smirk showing a grim glee at the Warforged's words as he responds, 'Well said, Links. I guess ye came out o' tha bodyguard service wit some insight after all, neh? Heh, just pullin' yer chain...get it?'

Chuckling at his own joke, the looming warrior continue, 'Mistress Nuria, do we need tha key ta open this gate? Or be it open already an we just walk through? If so, who's first? Fer my part, I nominate tha Waster.'

Wulfcyne doesn't even glance at Kaodi as he makes his last pronouncement.
