A1- Lost Knowledge of Arcanix(Wik Judging)

While he may not have thought to quicken his pace were it just the light footsteps of Nuria following him, the heavy pounding of Links is definately enough to catch his attention. Looking back to see how far away the two are, he lips pull back in anger to reveal his teeth and he crouches into a powerful, animalistic stance before dashing off at a sprint.

Seeing the way the Teifling darted off and still jogging behind Nuria, Links says "His mind is not on conversation now Lady Nuria. It is obvious he sees us as adversaries now. We must be on our guard from now on. It is not your fault there is nothing you could have done."

OOC: Great roleplaying guys...not really too much for me to add. I will post a new thread for Makharat alone, unless Nuria decides to pursue. Solange are you still with us?

ooc; seriously! some great scenes! this group has done quite a bit of growing since we started!

Wulfcyne secures the papers, stowing them in his pack before readying his shield and trident to defend them with extreme prejudice.

Seeing the warrior quickly outpace her, Nuria slows to a halt.

Links, it seems like he is much faster than we are. We had best get back to the group. If Makharat is headed back to Arcanix, he will likely take the lightning rail. That will leave him vulnerable to attack by many interested parties. We have to be on the same train at least. she says before turning around and jogging back to the group.

Seeing the pair return, Wulfcyne emerges from the building the group had been hiding in and joins them, speaking quietly yet urgently, 'We must now be leavin' quickly. Lady Nuria had the right o' it wit' her earlier plan. 'nother route may be best a' present. I suggestin' we take sum Horses by Wroat an catch tha boltrail.'

Wulfcyne snorts in amused futility as the 'forged runs off.

Turning to Koh'Tara the warrior watches the majority of the group disappear into the Trongs of people and asks, 'Wha' should we be doin'? I ain' so sure we be safe waitin' here. Though we two could be defendin' this here buildin' easily."
"We should follow Nuria. Makharat continues to be untrustworthy and upredictable. I fear for the other's safety." Koh'Tara says, chastising herself for ever letting the group trust him.

"Lady Nuria, Mahkarat is no longer our friend. Any attack that happens on him will be on him. Our concern now must be the dean's safety. Mahkarat, will kill him. We must get to a message station and let him know to be expecting Mahkarat and not let him on the premisis. Links says jogging behind.

Nuria bites her lip and thinks hard for a moment.

I had hoped to be able to talk some sense into him. That seems unlikely now. I feel like I failed the group somehow. Makharat is a capable warrior and his skill was useful both aboard the train and against the Tarkanans. I don't know him well enough to know what he will do when he reaches Arcanix. Links is right though. We must get a message to Dean Gray so that he aware that Makharat is on his way alone. What happens after that is up to him. The we must head with all possible speed to Arcanix and be prepared for who and what we may encounter. If we are approached by a member of my House, I'll deal with them myself. Does anyone have any paper or parchment and something to write with? If not, I would like to make a quick stop to purchase some. A few dozen sheet should be enough. Also, if we pass near someplace we can hire a House Orien courier, I will send my ring to my friend for safe keeping. Any questions?

Nuria watches for the reaction from the group. Clearly she is not accustomed to making such difficult decisions.
