A1- Lost Knowledge of Arcanix(Wik Judging)

OOC: ok, i was just a little confused.

As you go back out the vault door you came in, you see a few papers scattered but otherwise all of the scholars seem undisturbed and just as you left them, with no signs of the missing member of the Tarkanan squad that attacked you.

ooc; GM, the door Wulfcyne got 'flamed' by was the 'Front' door, the First one. That's what he went to go check. Additionally, I posted that I shut the first 'Front' door after the combat, as my PC did not want any invisible enemies, such as the poofing Maegi, to escape. I'm cool with being flamed, but please keep where we are in mind, in the future.

Wulfcyne waits impatiently by the Back Door on the upper level, wary of the Magic.

I suggest we quickly check the corridor outside the outer room before trying to get past the second vault door. Any other suggestions? Nuria asks the ragtag group of unlikely heroes.

OK now that I have a full understanding of the situation. It does appear as though you are pretty well trapped in here, save for the key which Nuria is aware can allow you to escape with relative ease.

It appears both doors are locked with identical mechanisms which[sblock=DC 19 spellcraft] The security mechanism appears to be in a prismatic wall fashion, nigh impossible to break through with current tools[/sblock]

you are beginning to feel a little claustrophobic.

It would seem our only option is to leave the way we came in. Perhaps we shoud have a conversation with Dean Grey regarding our atackers. He may be able to enlighten us as to why they are interested in his research.

Wulfcyne asks, 'Wha' 'bout this other vault door here?! The one tha flamed me? Can we not open it with tha key and continue our search?'

The looming warrior indicates the huge arcane door he's standing next to.

Looking to Koh'Tara he says, 'Yer wisdom shines through 'Tara...Damned Magical Vaults make me scars itch somethin' fierce.'

"If you're insistant on becoming ash, then you're welcome to try again," Valahandra says. "I think we weren't told something about these doors."
