Abandoned Mill - Inspiring picture of a ruin

Thought this looked very 'D&D'-y.

I would appreciate it if you guys would stop posting pics of my house. Ok, big deal, I can't afford some fancy non-ruins like you guys. But this was a Short Sale and it just needs some tender loving care.

You will be singing a different tune once I get carpet installed, remove the moss, and repaint everything. I'm hoping after that, I will get less adventurers sneaking inside and threatening me. Why won't people believe that I hold no women captive and there is no treasure to be found? You'd think the Homeowners Association fee would cover that sort of thing.

At my behest last year my family actually went on a little road trip looking for ruined things and ghost towns around where we live. .

We may not have medieval ruins but we have a fair few colonial era buildings.

Upper Canada Village is great for inspiration. As are any of the various forts. My personal favourites are Fort George and Fort Niagara, both at Niagara Falls (Fort Niagara is in NY). Out east, Louisburg is quite impressive.
